Happy Birthday to MEEEEEE!!!!

I am officially 1 years old today. You might ask so??? Well i have really accomplished alot this year from a baby with minimum movements to a bouncy toddler. I am soooo proud of myself hehe... Mama will put up pictures of me later

Hmmm....my ayah has been gone almost a week, i feel alittle disorientated. Why did my daddy go??? Well that lousy company of his..(opps shouldn't say this) I meant his company sent him to Fiji leaving me and mama alone for a week...Look at my sad face...

The story of the MOON....

According to famous chinese fable, the legendary archer Hou Yi and his kind hearted wife Chang Er was a loving couple. To reward Hou Yi for his heroic deeds, the Goddess of Immortality granted him an elixir of immortality. One fateful day, the evil scheming Feng Meng slipped into Hou Yi's residence to steal the heavenly elixer, to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, Chang Er swallowed it. Hmm that why the woman in the moon hehe...I too young to understand BUT i get to play with LANTERNS!!! Mama took me to the playground to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival here are some pictures of me....

A Trip Jus For Me?!!!

Mama and Daddy decided a week after their trip to Batam to bring me to Desaru, north east of Malaysia (31 Sept 2007. We drove up in Uncle Dol and Auntie Sofi HUGE Honda ISIS together with my 2 kakak(sisters) Iffah and Sofiah.

Arrival at Pulai Desaru Resort, where's the fun???



We arrived Desaru at about 3pm and checked in to our rooms. Moments later i was changed into my swimming costume and all set to swim. Here are the pic of me by the pool



In the evening mama took me to the playground, i had lots of fun



The next morning at breakfast, i made lots of funny faces while waiting for my breakfast hehehe :)



All too soon we had to go back to Spore, it was a memorable trip....

A Place Not Meant for Me.....

Mama and Daddy decided to leave me on my own for 3 days while they go to Batam to enjoy themselves!!! Humph! I made sure they had hell from me when they come back, a few more sleepless nites..*Muah-hahaha* Anywayz here are the pics that they have taken when they were there...i cant find those pics, i will upload another time hehe :)How bout i upload a pic of me....

I know i know, i haven completed my blog on the trip to HK but i really need to put this up by today hehe :) Today i recieved a parcel, the parcel was delivered straight to my doorstep. Guess who sent it to me!!! Its Aunt Dani from Austra *HAPPY* this is one of the many gifts that she sent to me and i luv them ALL :) It is a bear in a pink bunny suit its ssoooooo cute!!!! See my happy face. Thanks Aunt Dani *muah*

Hong Kong I Have Conquered!!!

At 8 months i have conquered Kowloon and ShenZhen. It was really an interesting trip for me since most of the time i am seated on my pram and pushed around in Hong Kong. I mus say that the transport system in the Hong Kong is really good.

We left for HK on the 15/6/07 taking the VERY early morning flight(6am) at Changi Airport. We reached HK at 11.30am after clearing custom. More will be updated after i put myself to sleep hehe :)

Daniel Effendy Who is he???

This little 2 year old hit my mommy like a Tsunami...One min he was there the next he is gone. Who is he...My mum knew of him at KK hospital, Kamila was warded for Rotavirus while he was warded for high fever. Wats so special abt him? Well he is an Orphan the uncle is giving him up for adoption, Mama seeing how cute he was decided to adopt him. Mama contacted MCYS and to check for the procedures but was asked to refer to the uncle instead. Although the uncle was ok but he said that Mama needs to adopt his 5 year old brother too. The next day when mama ask for the social worker number the uncle informed that the 2 brothers have been adopted. Till now mama is still sad...This the special little boy that caught mama heart by surprise hehe :)

The Early Days

Meningitis thats the word that actually scared mommy out of her wits... Actually its not the word but rather the process. What Happened??? Well 3 Days after i was discharged from KK i had fever abt 38 degrees. I was rushed to A&E after being referred by the GP, i was admitted to KK Children's ward. The process?? Well the doc came and tell my mom that she needed to take my urine samples, blood and also my Spinal Fluid...SPINAL FLUID!!!! My mom freaked out and start crying, daddy called auntie Sofi after seeing how paroniod mommy was hehe. Auntie Sofi jus said, get me discharged, its jus common fever hehe. So mommy brought me home surprisingly my fever was also gone by the time i reached home. Talk about being dramatic Here are some of my early days pic...

Circumcision...A word best not remembered!

My the word itself let shiver run down my spine, but i still need to undergo it. It wasn't a good experience with Mommy having to hold me down but it was pretty fast. Before I knew it i was out of the room in a jippy. But i did struggle and cry a bit. This is the day which i may never remember or rather not want to remember. Ouch!!!

A Day Visit to the Zoo

Paranoid

I remember when i was only 7 weeks old, my mom spotted me with her pregancy kit. I can almost hear her heart beat raised 10x more hehe :) I can feel her uncertainty as she told my papa that she was pregnant. Well that was the day i was discovered. It was in Jan 06 after we came back from the KL trip with Grandma. Mama hunger was so bad that papa had to make a stop at the nearest food place to get food for her. That was when Mama suspect something was not right. I can hear Mama telling Papa that the hunger was different from the hunger she normally have. Mama will upload the pregnancy kit result soon and also my 7 weeks scan . Here it is my 7 weeks scan, can you see me??

Whats In A Name???!!!

Ok so i am doin abit of catching up since i am 8 mths late :) So whats in a name? My full name is Sarah Alisha Cheah Wen Xiu. Yes i know it is a mouthful, but wait till i am old enough to sit for my exams, than it will become a handful...

Sarah meaning Pure and Excellent and Alisha is one being protected by God. I am a muslim Chinese baby gal special rite. My chinese name, Cheah my surname and Wenxiu means one who is a scholar and graceful. Need to provide more elaboration hehe. So there thats my name a mouthful for now.

Is 8 Mths Too Late???

While i am typing this my gal is already 8 mths, i have seen alot of blogs whose mommy start from the time their pregnancy kit shows "+" so am i too late. Well like the saying goes...Better late than never! I guess there is jus alot of back track for me to do :) While i am at that i might as well update how is Sarah doin.
We were attending my ex colleague wedding on Sunday, and we meet a couple whom we had attended the marriage guidance course together 3 years back. They too have a little boy who is 10 months. Looking at the little boy, i started makin baby faces at him when he smiled i could see six tiny tooth sitting on his top and bottom gum. I asked the mommy when did his tooth started growing she said 7 mths. My gal is already 8 mths and not even 1 *faint* So thats what we call anxiety for parents. Even tiny tooth make us jumpy hehe
Little Sarah can now crawl and stand. She loves standing. She practically grab hold of anything that includes any part of MY body if i am near her jus to be able to stand up tall. Yesterday my mom said she knocked her head 3 times on the wall, but she jus acted as normal and continued wat she was doin.She has also quite a character, apart from being a food lover like us she is also one who doesnt give up till she gets what she wants. This i will elaborate in the VERY near future, got to go back to work first but b4 i leave here is wat Sarah is like now...

Today is the Begining of my Life's Journal

I was born on the 18th Oct 2006 unwillingly to this hopeless world... Although i have tried my best to stay in my mother's womb i only manage to struggle a day late. My first instinct when i was placed on mommy's stomach was...WHERE'S the MILK!!!
